Our story begins across the Atlantic.
Jim, originally from Ireland, grew up on a family farm where bees were part of daily life. Surrounded by hives, fields, and the rhythms of the land, he developed a deep respect for the hard work of honeybees and the sweetness they bring to the world. When life brought him to the United States, that love for farming and bees came with him.
Meanwhile, Callen discovered beekeeping years later as a hobby. What started as a curiosity quickly turned into a passion—one that sparked countless hours of learning, tending, and experimenting.
Together, father and son combined their experience and enthusiasm to create Heffernan’s Honey.
